Next!

So me and my beau are talking about setting off for a warmer country!
France or Spain most likely.
Because he's french, he will have it so much easier than me who doesn't speak either language.
Maybe I'm screwed?

If we could ever actually leave our London....
I have tried 3 times.
Moved to another country, but then ended up back here each time.
It's like I become incomplete; like if London was a part of me.

But London is demanding, and I hate the fact that the sun only shines a couple months a year!

Pictures taken last spring in Barcelona.

If anyone have any kind of tips on how to make the move to one of these countries without speaking the language - please let me know!

Guerilla knitting

Guerilla knitting!
A new kind of illegal(?) artform which is forming in the cities.

"... there are guerilla knitters across the world,
and they have covered everything
from a bus in Mexico to a tree in Norway."
-- Mark Thomas in the Guardian

There are more to be seen here.

Little doe is love

Have been looking for symbols for new tattoos. I am really craving some new ones but I'm so indecisive.... Or, the problem is most likely that I want too many symbols on my body, but without looking like a tattoo-freak! I like it better when they are discrete.

Studio '10

Good studio time today. It felt better than ever!
I guess the time off work really does make a big difference.

I made 2 canvases and 1 print tonight:

To be honest I don't know who the photographer is, or the woman in the picture. I found the picture on The Selby.

More pictures are found here.

Graff alphabet

I'm finally back in the studio after the holidays!
Took me a while... But geee it's good to be back.

Also trying the learn the skill of graffiti writing. Not so easy...
It's an artform in itself.

Tastebuddies

NY Mag 50 top soups in the city

How lucky am I to have my frenchie run out to make home made hamburgers now when I'm laying here half dead of starvation! Even after he also made me a massive fry-up this morning.
Some have it good....

B.L walls

Went strolling through Brick Lane last night and saw these walls.

Obey

Space invader

Vhils

Good night at 3 parties. Had to stop myself to not go to a 4th and a 5th.... And maybe a 6th.

But no rush.
Where to start anyway?

Lucas Ossendrijver

I have mentioned him before but at the moment I'm so into shoes that he's worth mentioning again - Lucas Ossendrijver for Lanvin.

Jean Sablon

I have just discovered Jean Sablon......

Doesn't it just make you feel lovely?

Save the youth

I walked past the MuTate Britain grounds today and it's all dark and closed.
Looks eary...
Shame that it's closed off with all those brilliant pieces in there.
Keep an eye on their website for future events!

A new reason

First day of work. For some but not me.
Feeling a little empty without it. Gotta find a reason to get out of bed now and make sure not to loose the creativity.

Brooklyn 2009

I found this cool video on nuart.
Street art photographer Jaime Rojo has given us a taster of the NY scene under 2009.

I especially like the pieces below; I like it when the art is colourful and truly unexpected in their location!

It's the year of the Tiger and let's hope it's a good one!
